Omni ROM

We'll not support users and answer questions from users who:
  • are running a custom kernel
  • have flashed mods
  • modified system files
  • are unfriendly

Even if you tell us that your problem is not related to your custom kernel /mod / magic => WE DON'T CARE!
Your mod => your problem!

Official OmniROM Wiki:
http://docs.omnirom.org

Notable features:
  • No Maps 7 glitches, Browser glitches, Gmail glitches, etc.
  • Uses ION memory allocator
  • Uses the newest Adreno (graphics) libraries and firmware available for our platform (these graphics libraries are newer than the graphics libraries in any other ROM; they were used in Android 4.2 for the Nexus 4)
  • Significantly smoother/faster graphics as a result of the new graphics libraries
  • Adreno libraries version: AU_LINUX_ANDROID_JB_VANILLA_04.02.02.060.053

What's working:
  • Display
  • Audio playback
  • Video playback
  • Camera/Video
  • RIL
  • Screenshot
  • Stock browser
  • WiFi
  • Bluetooth
  • SDCard

Untested:
These features are like cats on a wall. They can be either working/not working. Test and report, so I can put them in their place ;)
  • WiFi tethering
  • GPS
  • Bluetooth tethering

Issues:
Note: If you find any more issues, please report, so that I can add them here :)
  • Not that I found any, but you can try and report any bugs!

Quote:
It's entirely possible that features not used by me are broken, but overall the device should be usable. You have been warned.

Before using ART, you have to install some reverse-mount script like int2ext!

First time installing OmniROM to your HTC Pico, or coming from another ROM:
  • Read known issues and FAQs
  • Copy GApps and OmniROM ZIPs to your SDCard
  • Boot into Recovery
  • DO A DATA WIPE / FACTORY RESET (otherwise your device will be stuck at boot)
  • Flash OmniROM zip from SDCard
  • Flash GApps zip from SDCard
  • Reboot
Quote:
  • Don't restore system data using Titanium Backup!
  • Restoring Apps + Data might cause problems and is not recommended, avoid it if possible!
Upgrading from earlier version of OmniROM:
  • Copy the OmniROM ZIP to your SDCard
  • Boot into Recovery
  • Flash the OmniROM zip from SDCard
  • Reboot
